It Is About ~ Langkawi Part 4

Just to share the photos while we were at the hotel.
<>
At the hotel's lobby on the first day, while waiting for the van taxi to go to Kuah Town.
Danish yang dah jadi macam zombie kampung pisang.

Dear hubby sempat berposing dengan eagle statue, konon-konon eagle tu datang bertenggek kat tangan dia.

Cheers,

It Is About ~ Langkawi Part 3

Hah! Lamanya tak update blog. Bukan apa, internet connection slow sangat. So sekarang bolehlah kita sambung cerita pasal cuti-cuti kat Langkawi hari tu ya.

Anak-anak very excited bila dapat tahu kat hotel yang kami menginap tu ada swimming pool. Yalah, bukan selalu dapat masuk swimming pool hotel kan?

Semuanya bukan pandai berenang pun....setakat merendamkan badan ajelah, nak terapung tak reti. Satu yang pasti, paling kurang masing-masing dah 'terminum' 1 liter air kat swimming pool tu....ha ha ha.

Yang tak tahan bila tengok Danish meng'jetski'kan bibik dia...

Walaupun tak pandai swim, posing sudah semestinya.

Zhelda

It Is About ~ Holiday in Langkawi Part 2

Hari Jumaat, 20th Jan, kami ronda-ronda ke UnderWater World. It was the first place the kids really wanted to go to. Orang pun tak ramai sangat, so senanglah nak bergerak.

Yang paling dia seronok bila jumpa baby Nemo lah, Patrick the Starfish lah, Mr Crab lah....hmm alahai, nasib baik takde jumpa Sponge Bob Square Pent kat situ!

Lepas tu, jumpa lah pulak pelakon-pelakon extra untuk movie 'Happy Feet'.... comel-comel sungguh diaorang ni. Kami dok tunggu jugak Si Pingu, tapi sampai sudah tak nampak....

Sempatlah jugak beli sedikit cenderahati kat situ...yang banyak dibeli dah tentulah key-chain. Naik rambang mata tengok macam-macam jenis key-chain yang dijual. Nak beli t-shirt, harganya mak datuk, mahal giler. Tapi kan, I still have a t-shirt that I bought masa mula-mula datang kat sini. Dah berbelas tahun, elok lagi bajunya. Sampai sekarang masih boleh dipakai.

Finally, jumpa jugak dengan ikan yang besar ni. Ingatkan ada seekor saja, rupanya banyak kat dalam akuarium tu...tapi dah tak ingat apa namanya.

By the time kami habis meronda kat Underwater World Langkawi ini, kami terus pergi lunch dekat satu restoran Melayu di seberang jalan. Makanannya boleh tahan lah sedap, tapi tengok menu harga air ...fullamak...lagi mahal dari harga air kat KLIA kargo!

Balik hotel pun dah hampir pukul 5 petang, anak-anak dah tak sabar tak nak main air kat swimming pool hotel. Nanti kita sambung cerita lagi....

It Is About ~ Holiday in Langkawi part 1

I took half day leave on the Wednesday, 19th Jan. While waiting for my elder daughter to come back from school, I started packaging our clothes. Trying not to bring a lot of clothes, so I managed to packed it into two luggages - one for me, my hubby and Danish, and another one for Iman, Anis & Bibik.

We left our home at 8.30 pm, and reached Gunung Rapat, Ipoh at almost 12 midnight. We transitted at my sister-in-law's house, having a home made 'tosei' for breakfast served with a very delicious chutney - soooo yummy! Then our journey to Kuala Kedah begin at 9.00 am.

We arrived Kuala Kedah at 12 noon. While looking around for a parking area, one local guy approached us and offered a parking lot nearby his house, which located not far from the jetty. The parking fee is only RM 30.00 for one day. Then we just walked to the jetty area, and took ferry at 12.45 pm. The journey is approximately 1 hour 15 minutes from Kuala Kedah to Kuah Town. There are a lot of ferry services offered at Kuala Kedah. One of it is Fortune Express 2.

After we reach Kuah Town, we straight away took a taxi and headed to the One Helang Hotel at Padang Matsirat, which is 30 minutes away from the Kuah Jetty. The hotel is just beside the Langkawi International Airport. After checked-in, we had our lunch at Kenny Roger's Roaster at the terminal. Then go back to the hotel room, having dinner at the hotel's restaurant and rest.

To be continued.....

It Is About ~ My New Bowling Ball Drilled by Holloway Cheah!

I have been playing bowling for few years, but still nothing much that I know about it ( hmm, will start to learn about it through internet ).
I was introduced to bowling by my hubby, Amir. He has been playing bowling for many years, and has been participating in many bowling tournaments. Not like him, I play bowling just for myself. But still, I have my own bowling balls & shoes.

Last two weeks, when we were at Endah Parade, my hubby has bought one new ball for me. It's a Brunswick. It cost him more than six hundred ringgit.

It was rercomended by Holloway Cheah for me to take this ball. And Holloway himself took my measurement and drilled the ball. And the best thing is, he gave us a very good discount on that ball!

According to his wife, Holloway is usually be very busy with the national team, but on that day, it was my luck to met him personally. On top of that, he gave me a very usefull tips in bowling.

So I have been using this new ball two times already. The feeling is soooo different. We usually play bowling at Alamanda Putrajaya, almost every weekend. Bowling is now a compulsory family activity for us.

Till then,
Zhelda Ibrahim.

It Is About ~ SMILES @ Happy Faces!

Smiling is infectious,
You can catch it like the flu.
Someone smiled at me today,
And I started smiling too

Everyone smiles in the same language. Start your day with a smile and get it over with.

No matter how grouchy you're feeling,
You'll find the smile more or less healing.
It grows in a wreath
All around the front teeth -
Thus preserving the face from congealing.
~Anthony Euwer

A smile costs nothing but gives much.  It enriches those who receive without making poorer those who give.  It takes but a moment, but the memory of it sometimes lasts forever.  None is so rich or mighty that he cannot get along without it and none is so poor that he cannot be made rich by it.  Yet a smile cannot be bought, begged, borrowed, or stolen, for it is something that is of no value to anyone until it is given away.  Some people are too tired to give you a smile.  Give them one of yours, as none needs a smile so much as he who has no more to give.

Smiles Always,
Zhelda Ibrahim
